Description
The Lifeline Formula Car Quick Release Steering Hub is pre-drilled with 3 holes on a 50.8mm (2″) PCD (Approx 44mm centers of adjacent holes) & is a direct fit for many pre-drilled single seater / sports car steering wheels.
The Lifeline range of quick release steering bosses are CNC manufactured using aircraft quality aluminum that is hard anodized for strength & durability. Â The bosses designed for motorsport are anodized gold in line with FIA requirements.
Both male & female splines are precision gear cut to ensure an accurate fit with zero backlash while a master spline allows the wheel to be fitted in the same position every time. Â The male weld in spigot is made from 20mm diameter EN 3B steel with a 6mm pilot hole through the center.
Lifeline quick release bosses are also available with a pre-wired 8 way electrical connector for use with steering wheel mounted instruments or switch gear.
